Humps, Bumps and Grinds
I've moved to a place were bumps are called humps and the public library has The Idiots Guide to Pole and Exotic Dancing. The alternate reality is somewhat expected - after all, these people have to celebrate Christmas in 70 degree weather. But there are payoffs - specifically a dog named Riley who manfully (doggedly?) took on a Tucson mountain.
While Rileys' humans seemed uninterested I think he would be the cats meow in a saddle - something in red leather and studs but secretly - between you and me - I think he's just thankful that it is 70 degrees so he's not modeling a knitted snowsuit.

And why, exactly, are they called speed 'humps'? You'd think I may know this, being a librarian and living here but alas, I do not.
It may warrant further research though.
P.S.
wait 'til you see the 'speed tables'.
